Ed started painting in February 2008, following major surgery. He attended classes in a group, with a tutor in
Gisborne but has recently decided to see how his own style develops.
Not inspired by any particular artist, he tends towards structures and landscapes, but is really hoping to gain enough skills to properly exhibit his passion for trains, both steam and diesel, a real challenge in his chosen medium of watercolour.
Ed joined the Society in 2008 and exhibited for the first time in the Annual May Show in 2009.
He is currently (2009/2010) the President of the Sunbury Art Society.
