Debra Vivarini-Lorenzi

She learnt to draw and paint in oils when she was 16 years old.

She has dabbled in all areas of art and craft and has tried all mediums  - oils, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, pencil, charcoal, fabric paint, glass paint, Silk paint, ceramics, mosaics and photography, but her true passion is painting landscapes, seascapes, portraits and still life.

She has won several awards over the years and held her own solo show in 1999. Her works can be found in private homes in Melbourne. Italy and Denmark.

She has been teaching drawing and painting since 1999 privately to children and adults.

She finds find painting relaxing and enjoys helping others and sharing her passion for ART.

Her ancestors Antonio, Batholomeo and Alvise VIVARINI had a school in Venice in the 15th Century.  The painting
"The Garden of Love" hangs in the National Gallery of  Victoria.

She joined the Sunbury Art Society in 2002  and on Committee for 2005/06 and has thoroughly enjoyed the friendships she has made with Society Members.
