The Art Society held its first meeting on a Tuesday night in November 1985 in the Uniting Church Hall, Village Green Sunbury. Some 10 people attended.
The following year the Society exhibited some 180 paintings at the beautiful Craiglea Winery. The Annual Art Show has continued without fail till today.
Generally membership between 1985 to 2000 averaged some 20 - 25 people. Today we can boast some 80 members.
The activities have served well for inspiring and experienced artists and it boasts a happy group of people who enjoy each other's company and members who are prepared to share knowledge.
